Actually, whenever I heard that Goa DJ's couldn't spin on vinyl because the records would "melt" together, I thought it meant all the psychedlic swirly sounds would overlap each other, causing a "melting" of music that is unpleasant to the ears. I figured this was true since most Goa I've heard doesn't have any stops and starts to the psychedelic strings and synths; they just keep going on and on. I could be very wrong, though.
